id3reader not working?

As the case with most people, after using CF for the first time I completely fell in love with it. It has a few issues but hopefully they will get worked out in the next release. One problem that I have been having that bothers me is the id3reader. After going into settings and having it spend a good amount of time reading all the tags, I find no difference when scrolling through my mp3s. It still shows the filenames. Does anyone else have this issue or know what I am doing wrong?

in music manager if you select artist or album mode, it uses id3 instead of naming and shows the playlist in that mode

There is no way to play a directory and show the id3 tags instead of the filenames (like in winamp) ??? This is frustrating. I hope this is changed in the next release b/c I really dont want to change all my filenames.

it reads the tag information while in directories mode... on-the-fly...

hmmm, I am using the latest version of CF and it does not do that! everytime i am in directory mode it uses the filenames instead of the id3 tags. even later in the playlist filenames are used instead of the id3 tags!
