    Another phoco anomaly

I guess this is addressed to David more than anyone else...

So I've been using the embedded phoco function, and it's really cool. Thanks for the great job w/ integrating the app so far. I've got the 10 second hangup issue that some others seem to be experiencing (phone call cuts off after ten seconds). In addition though, I noticed that about 50% of the time, the visual alert doesn't pop up; audio notification works fine.

The only reason this concerns me is that in order to prevent the phone call from hanging up in 10 seconds, I have to pick up the call via the onscreen interface, and not through the phone. Of course, if there isn't a prompt, I end up getting a dropped phone call. Is there anything that can be done about this issue?

Does anyone else know what the heck i'm talking about?

Thanks again David; looking forward to another awesome release!

PhoCo in 1.3 will be implemented a lot different. It will be more stable because I plan on utilizing more of the current PhoCo GUI and popups...

Not sure why the dialogs aren't always popping up, but you finally made me realize possibly why peoples phone calls hang up. I assumed everyone was using the onscreen dialogs to answer the call because your phone would most likely be in your pocket. That is why I have the call auto hangup if I don't get a response on the screen to accept or hangup. I wonder if this is all that has been happening to everyone. The event not getting raised should be fixed in the next version because PhoCo will be displaying the dialogs and not CENTRAFUSE... The hangup problem will also be resolved...

How are you getting it to work while your phone is in your pocket? For me, my phone can either connect to PhoCo over BT serial com port or to the headset service on the computer. If I use PhoCo, I need to use the phone to speak (transfering the sound will end the call and the PhoCo serial connection). If I want to route the sound through the speakers, I need to disable PhoCo...

My bluetooth phone can connect the audio gateway and the serial port at the same time. I use a mic plugged into the computer to speak and the car speakers to listen...

I use a sony ericson t68i... It works that way with pretty much all the sony ericson bluetooth phones... Most bluetooth phones will allow it to work this way so you might want to search through the PhoCo forums to see if anyone else has setup suggestions for your phone...

Is there any way to just fix it so it doesn't auto hang up without waiting for the next version? This is a big problem for me...

    Thanks,
    Dan
