    CPU load at 100%

This is my first post, and I had to say that Centrafuse just blown me away!

The GUI is great and David keep up the good work, I have my creditcard ready when your done.

Btw some optimizing would be nice, Im running a VIA EPIA MII with 1Gb Ram and with a CPU load at 100% almost always, well, this is not a bad thing, but when I use my Lilliput`s touch screen I feel a bit of lag, the "direct" feeling is gone. Not a big thing but when I compare with RR the respons is faster.

This has been corrected.... I do all my graphic work completely different in my latest version... You should see a considerable speed/response improvement in the upcoming release...

i've the same problem, nearly 100 % cpu load with via epia m motherboard (600MHz). running centrafuse 1.2 on windows2000, because i had horrible problems with installing windowsxp. xp installation hangs on 34min with sp1 integrated. xp gives me bluescreen if i tried install it with integrated sp2, and so on. so i saw the last chance install centrafuse on win2000.

something is most likely wrong with your setup if you get hangs and bluescreens installing windows XP because there are no problems with XP on the M10000... I have a whole lot of them on my desk and I reinstalls XP all the time with no problems....

thank you for reply, but i tried different winxp setups, home and professional, most from original microsoft cds with hologram on it. ms wrote an article about this problem, but the solution does not resolve my problem. i tried more than 40 times with all different configurations to install xp, without luck. so last chance was win2000.

SyNTaXer: The problems you described are not software related... I doubt it was ever the XP disk you were using... This sounds like a hardware problem... I have installed many different version of XP on the same hardware with no problems... Most likely either the motherboard or memory.. It could be the hard drive, but that usually gives different types of errors...

thank you for your answers. i have also changed the memory and the harddisk, with no positive effect. microsoft says that on some motherboards the usb controller makes this kind of problem. micosoft artice here : http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=k...815319&x=7&y=9

also have tried the microsoft solution - no way!

win2000 last chance to get centrafuse working.
it is strange that win2000 is working without errors or hangs, also tried knoppix without problems, so i don't think anymore this is hardware related. maybe incompatibility within soft and hardware ??

nice day, and much praise to you david for centrafuse !!!

syntaxer: It's not what that article mentions because the via epia M series motherboards work perfect in XP... I have a 600mhz and 3 1Ghz epia M series MB's running XP right next to me on my desk, as do tons of other people in the forums... Most likely it is something weird wrong with your MB... I bet if you tried it with another via M series motherboard it would work fine....

Glad you like CF and good luck...
