Day and Night skin rather than Gamma Control

David, could you add a feature for 2 different skins that switch on a time basis rather than the gamma control.

This would be better for developing skins that are better viewable in day and night rather than finding a compromise of one skin to do both.

If this would not be available to program into 1.3, it would be nice to be able to set the gamma control on a time basis, being able to eliminate the day/night button on the skin.
    Thanks.

Agreed, it would be a nice improvement.

Yeah, but where would he get the time data? Obviously sunrise/sunset changes... Unless there's some sort of API over to iGuidance/Routis to pull Sunrise/Sunset data from the GPS... it'd make it a lot harder, wouldn't it?

Doesn't I guidance automatically change skin colors based on when the sun sets where you currently are? If he could tap into that, it would be awesome.

Otherwise simply do what frodo does and make it change at a set time.

I'm pretty sure the set time thing could get annoying after awhile..depending on how much the sunset/sunrise time changes...

If he could work out a gameport input plugin for Centrafuse, that'd be awesome... it'd be pretty easy to simulate a joystick button press when you turn on your parking/headlights... if he read the gameport for that 'button', whenever your lights are on would tell centrafuse to switch the skin/gamma over from day/night.

Yeah I'm thinking base it off the headlamp switch being on/off.
