Feedback for embedded art?

Hey David, there have been multiple requests to have CF support embedded ID3 album-art rather than the folder.jpg style. Are you planning looking in to this at all? I feel I am missing out on 50% of the new interface by just seeing that default "missing-art" picture all the time. (also, how to you change that default image (the blue CD thing on the white background)?)

they're called audioart.jpg and videoart.jpg and located in:

C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\skins\[skin name]

Here's what I'm using..

Thanks TJ, you 'da man! I hope David will support ID3 art. I'd hate to have to choose one album for each artist diesctory and figure out a way to batch-extract .jpg's from my ID3s.

I think it should be an option to display either the album art view or just a text list view

then you can't watch videos or see a non-fullscreen vis anymore...

is there a way to do a fast forward in video mode keeping video in fullscreen? like the goodold autohide button bar?

David: So are you looking into ID3 embedded art, or should I start looking into ripping my ID3 art to folder.jpg's?

I definetly added it to my list of things to implement... just not exactly sure when I will get to it... it will definetly not make it into 1.31...

Ok cool... I can wait, I just wanted to make sure it is planned because if it was a definate "no" then I would have to look in to extracting the jpgs. Good to hear it will be coming some day.

bump. please add this. with the view switched to album art mode in the new CF, it's impossible to tell what album i'm selecting without some serious squinting.
