Hello,
I am new to CF and would like to start using album art in version 1.3. Can anyone tell me how that is done?
Thanks in advance.
Kevin

Thanks, Rickster, but I'm still having trouble.
I downloaded a jpg of the Abbey Road cover, renamed it "Folder.jpg" and placed it in the folder/directory that contains all the mp3s from the Abbey Road Album. When I play that album in CF though, it does not pick up the cover. Is there anything else I should be doing?
make sure you have cover art turned on in the settings screen
Cover art on. Still nothing.
Thanks for the replies. I still can't any album art to display, however. All I'm getting is the default CD icon no matter what I do. I have reviewed all the threads with the word "art" in them. Anybody have any more advice?
Maybe I should ask a couple of questions.
1. Does the jpg need to be a certain size?
2. Should the album art come up anytime a song is played from a directory that contains a picture named folder.jpg or does it just come up if one loads all the songs from the directory?
3. Must I be in a specific mode of the manager, e.g. directory v. playlist, in order for album art to come up?
Thanks.
Kevin

Download the NEXUS Skin for Centrafuse
...or even Listen to my music
Tried loading album - still nothing.
My directory structure is as follows:
f:\rock\beatles\abbey road\
01-Come Together.mp3
02-Something.mp3
folder.jpg
Any reason why this directory structure wouldn't work?
I'm also wondering if I need to rebuild the library everytime I add a jpg in order for it to work.![]()
you don't have to reload the library and they dont' have to be a specific size... I have no idea why they wouldn't show up... I simply look for a folder.jpg in the same folder as the file that is being played...

turn on file extensions in windows explorer and then make sure the file extension is .jpg and not .jpeg
Also, the file is a valid jpg file isn't.
