    Trying to Embed GPS...

I am trying to embed Topo 5.0 into CF 1.3. I have read about all the special characters and what not, since topo 5.0 uses the registered trademark in the title window....

The problem I am having, is, After I edit the file and save it, All 6 app buttons dissapear. I am using wordpad to edit the file, and saving it as a .xml file.

Should I not use wordpad? Anyone having this problem?

Thanks everyone, and Nice Work David!

don't know what the problem could be. Sounds like you're on the right track about wordpad though; i bet your xml file is getting corrupted. You can use an xml editor to validate your file. Notepad is a lot safer than wordpad though.

    Good luck.

Ok I got the external.xml working. I guess you have totype everything perfect or it does not work. Thanks for your help.

Now, I still can't get Topo 5.0 to load within CF1.3. Any suggestions?

I would like it to run full screen as if it were running in XP. But I want music as well, so exiting CF is not what I really want to do...can I run it full-full screen?

And, where did my shutdown button go? I liked the one button push and leave the car. Is that a .xml command I can type into the home screen?

    Thanks for your help again,
    -Dustin
