CENTRAFUSE BETA 2 [1.4] Requests

Hi David, 1.4 allows song and video to be played on the same playlist..wonderful. When the list plays in full screen from video to song, the interface from the video image to the 'equalizer display' is good, but not vice versa. When transiting from song to video, the 'equalizer display' will jump back to CF Home Page, and I need to click it again to get the video to play in full screen.

It would be good to get CF to transit from the video to display and back to video without any clicking.

Sounds to me more like a BUG than a REQUEST!

this is how it should function... I will check it out...

should be fairly easy, but what about integrating a "code screen" to access the main CF app...
ie.. CF enabled as shell when it starts up, but before the main CF skin is displayed, a screen requiring a numeric code, with a kepayd displayed is shown.
Additionally if 4 incorrect codes are entered it would be nice if it sent the ACPI shutdown code..

I know of an app that will do the following but it would be nice if was embeded and could be enabled/disabled within the configuration screens..
I would have 1 master code embeded as the last 4 characters of the users serial number, the user code should be able to set only within the setup/config XML file.

I am asking for the functionality for the ovbious valet/shop reasons

RE: Letter seek not being very usable in the car... This is exactly why HOLDING the page up/down buttons should jump one letter every second (and it would be cool if CF "announced" the letter too so that if you bind a hot-key to the page up/down, you can jump through the letters with your eyes on the road rather than the screen).

a letter every second... If it started at A and you wanted to listen to some Wilco you would have to hold the button for a really long time and listen to a computer say the alphabet...

How about one letter every 1/2 second? I really like his idea. I rather listen to the alphabet, than the obituary!

Something like this integrated in CF would be awesome. Recording sound/video when in the 'locked' state would be nice too.

I like it... it's been added to my list of things to do... I can also use the numpad for other things... options in setup that require a number will use the numpad and the same goes for when I integrate GPS... I will also use it in my phonecontrol plugin too...
