Not if it wraps. Then it's only 5 seconds, and you can be watching the road the whole time as you hear "Number-Z-Y-X-W" (numbers should be combined, not individual digits). The worst case would be 14 seconds. At that point you just hit "Next-Artist" a few times (which I would like in Now-Playing via a hot-key as well as when under the Artists sub-category of Media Library... actually, now that I think about it, if I could just add the song to my Now Playing and have it immediately play the song, then I could just stay in Media Library all the time and I would not mind if you added any features to Now Playing or not).Originally Posted by veetid

David, I know you said you'd do PhoCo support in future versions but the problem with that is that most new BT phones will not be able to work with PhoCo since they only support point-to-point connections (only one BT connection at a time). I was wondering if you would be up to the challenge of writing your own code that connects to bluetooth phones using the handsfree profile instead of using a virtual com port like PhoCo does. The good thing about going this route is that the handsfree profile, under the audio gateway service, includes audio transfer, relaying serial commands, invoking phone based voice recognition, and phonebook management using only one connection. This, in my opinion, would give very professional results when using Centrafuse as an interface with a BT phone. Although this will take a long time to develop, I feel that if CF had this capability, it would be magnitudes better than any frontend out there.
agreed. also with going this route, you could give the option for people to use their bluetooth headsets as mic's for CF thus eliminating the previously mentioned line in/mic issue. cuz i know personally i will be going the bluetooth headset route in my carpc because it has proven to be so much easier than your all too common tethered mic.

Mbai, great suggestion. I'm with Vchat, I would much rather use my bt headset, though having a tethered mic installed in my A pillar for when you do'nt want to hvae hte headset on would be cool too.

This won't be possible unless your tuner can tune to two channels at once.Originally Posted by asci01

That still wouldn't work, because you would lose some of that delay everytime you switch stations. You could only crossfade on the first 3 station changes LOL.
