well it'd have to do something like you click to change stations, and it keeps playing the current station for a few seconds (from the delay) while it starts recording the delay que for the next station ... so the station change wouldn't be instant.

I didn't say it was a good option just the only way i see you could do it.

i say leave it as is now. i dont see why you would need or want a xfade for changing stations. and when you start getting into elaborate ideas to accomplish it, it becomes more of an annoyance than anything else. and im sure david doesnt want to get into something this elaborate either.

...but when you switch stations, there is a second of no audio. Plus if you cross-fade, you lose another second of audio. If you want to be constantly playing audio then those 2 seconds would have to come out of the buffer. Eventually the buffer would be depleted and then you could no longer cross-fade (until you paused or something so that the buffer could re-fill). It's just not really possible (without 2 tuners).

well there would be no constant audio ... there would always be a gap ... that's why I said it wasn't a good solution ... jst a solution.

i think the ultimate solution is to stop listening to the radio ... it's all trash anyway

How about the ability to specify a day/night skin?

I find myself switching from Brushed Al to Brushed Metal and back alot manually, it would be nice if you could specify a time for it to switch automatically.

I would like the button that currently dims to 3 brightness settings to just change skins as well (instead of auto-switch at X:XX time).

    mute

not sure if it was brought up before...
after hitting the mute button to mute the audio..
it would be nice if it ramped up to the origional volume when you un-mute it..

Well due to the current angle of my screen this wouldn't work for me, i have to use the lowest gamma all the time to improve the visibility of the screen.

If the skin was tied to the brightness settings I would always be using the darkest skin, which wouldn't be helpful during the day.
