is it possible have a similiar control for the scrolling through songs like you have for the volume control.
Meaning.. the longer you hold the up arrow on the scroll the faster it goes through the list.

have you tried the alphabetical scroll feature? Hold down the left mouse button over the playlist and drag. Vertical moves through the alphabet quickly; horizontal drag moves slower.
