LQuickcam Embedding

Hi;

I am a relative newbie, but have been 'lurking' for a couple of months learning from you all.

I have searched the threads for a solution on how to embed a window of my streaming webcam into CF, I did find some threads that mentioned embedding the same way as other applications, but I cannot find a simple viewer which I can embed into CF.

When you click my computer and select the webcam, it shows the streaming video in the right hand pane, but what I was looking for was a windowless streaming viewer that will emebed nicely into CF.

Any ideas anyone ??

I just created a small app in vb.net to embed a webcam into centrafuse. It has some basic skinning so it looks half way decent. If anyone is interested, PM me.

I hope someone hosts it :-) I like it too.

As a programmer you can probably answer this then, is it possible to have the program record video in a cyclus? Like whenever the app is started it starts recording and saves the last XXminutes.

Then if someone hit´s my car I can save the last XX/15 minutes recording and hit his insurance company with it

You know what will also be really nice. To have a program like skype or using phone control, so when someone calls you and if they have a webcam also you can talk and see each other in the vehicle. Just like the show night rider.

yeah but most of us don't have broadband internet in the car :P
