Are all the bugs in 1.4 a common thing with all front ends?

This question is in no way to be interpreted as a complaint or critisism. Im still realtively new to all this front end stuff and was wondering if its this way with all the front ends to some degree or just CF because of type of coding/programming language...?

Which bugs specifically are you refering to?

Any program, frontend or not, has bugs in the begining. All bugs can also be solved. It's just a matter of time. It's only 1.4, Microsoft Office is on version 11, and Photoshop is on version 9 - and they're still making improvements.

this was a complete rebuild... The BETA testing for the first version just started a few weeks ago... So yes this is common for ALL software that is developed... If you want to run a version without bugs then you need to wait until the commercial version is complete. You are using a BETA version of the software, which by it's very definition means it has bugs...

The whole point of being a BETA tester is to find the bugs... Think you need to just wait until it's finished...

Just as previously stated, no program is free from bugs..
Just look at Windows.. It's been commercial for _several_ years
and I wouldn't really call it free from bugs.. *remembers msblaster* :P

i hope you didn't take offense to my question. I LOVE CF, even with the bugs! I just don't know much about software building and testing and i just got into all this front end stuff in the past month or so and just wondered if this is normal. Cause if it is i comend you or anyone who take s on the challenge of doing this for free. I do appreciate it... thank you.

no offense taken... didn't mean to come across that way if I did... This is basically just a new version of Centrafuse at the early stages of BETA testing... All the bugs will be worked out and a stable final release will be made...
