    CF as Shell::Welcome Screen fix

    Hi All,
    Newbie here. Done lots of searching and prodding about this topic. I run CF 1.4 and use the "Run as shell" command in the setup. I embedded explorer.exe into the apps section so i can view my documents and such.

    *Question: Theres lots of talk about eliminating the welcome screen which has been causing a 30 sec lag when starting up the computer. I am very new to the scripts, batch files, programming scene.

    --Can someone post EXACTLY a point by point tutorial on how to eliminate this welcome screen lag from the system when using CF as the shell. As of now, I have no problems with CF exectuing itself as the shell, so my only concern is the bootup time. Thanks in advance to any input.

    when i click exit...it just shows me the desktop with no icons, start menu, task bar, or lower right side notification bar. IS that normal? or did I do something wrong?
