In case you're wondering, the size of albums in a standard Xenarc/Lilliput screen comes up to be 355x355 pixels when in full screen mode.
So, you really won't win much by finding larger album art. I've been downscaling all large album art scans to 500x500, but oh well...
I do think that the smaller the better, in terms of scroll speed in the album art views. 355 is your best bet.

I found this tool (PicSizer) which resize images in batch mode, and does it very quickly.
best of all, you can tell it to only scale images down, so that if you have a smaller image it won't stretch it up (you wouldn't want/need to do that).
It's freeware, and OMG it is so fast.
I just ran it through all my collection and had it resize all my folder.jpg files down to 355x355 pixels (for those that where larger than that).

if using xp.. go to microsoft.com and download the image resizer that is part of their power toys/tools suite... very good that is.
