Thread: starting Accesscontrol = play wav file!!

    Question starting Accesscontrol = play wav file!!

    I have really tried this one. been + ed in forums, Listened to Hacked the registry, downloaded appz that should helped for 3 days now

    Without progress..


    Now, I want help!!

    *****INFO******
    I run Acess control as a shell. when accesscontrol starts i want it to play a wav file playing "please enter password" would be really cool!! after right security code entered centrafuse should start.


    ****Attempt nr 001****
    i have tried in the registry to add a sound event to program events
    look here "control mmsys.cpl,,1" without progress. followed guides as well as appz. works in 9x but not on xp



    ****Attempt nr 002****
    Tried to configure the "settings.ini" of accesscontrol
    mplayer2.exe C:\Program Files\AccessControl\pass.wav

    ****Attempt nr 003****
    endelss of experimens of bat files


    ****Results*****
    Anyone out there who got a tip or clue?

    this "should" be a fairly simple task but sometime even simple things are super hard.
    Try looking into autoIT scripts, used a lot on this forum
    You can have it launch your app, then wait for a time interval or event then play your wav file.
