same here google earth does not cover the netherlands and i don;t have a internet connection in the car

(gprs solutions are waaaay to expensive here)

Wow, really? I know GPRS is a stumbling block for some (which cache can partially overcome), but I thought GE had most of the world covered (at least all of the US and Europe). I guess it's not global yet, but most can use it now, and I'd hope GE will cover everything within the next year or so. We will definitely be seeing a lot more wireless broad-band solutions coming in the next few years.
