I tried to use to previous license key, but it doesn't work! I'm not that fond of knowing I have only 30 days for this...

in the nicest way possible to say this.. read back through the various other posts about this.. however, i'll save you the time

re-register on his website, it will give you a new serial number, use that. no more 30 day restriction

Thanks, although I've read for some the old license worked for this as well.

First impresions: when loading the entire music folder, the software blocks, and have to reset manually. Same thing for the "find gps" button.
One other thing is I set the external apps, but in the apps menu I can't see them.
Other than that, the software runs great. I like the fact that one can easily switch between playlists. Awesome software, you did it again David!

    Problems with tags

I still have problems with id3 tags. I'm using "Tag and Rename" and I think the problem may be that I've got v1 and v2 ID3 tags in some files. These files show up almost correct, but with some extra junk on the end of the artist, album, and track title. Maybe it's a string buffer overrun?
    My worklog.
Status: VM GTI sold, got out of the CarPC tinkering hobby, but I still think about getting back in.

Once you've embedded the program, you need to tell CF what button you want to use for it. Do the following:

    Home/Tools/Set Action.

When you click Set Action you should see a "Button" screen. Scroll down until you get to the button you want to use for the embedded app. This will then take you to the "Actions" window. Scroll down until you see the program you have just embedded, click it and hit ok. The program should now show up on the button you designated.

I am having a hard time getting the weather plugin to work. It won't accept my location entries. I'm actually not sure what locations to use. Should it be a URL such as www.weather.com?

Thanks a lot Kbreeden!!! It works just fine now.
Also, the two bugs I mentioned earlier, are somehow gone now. Everything works flawless.

If you live in the USA, its as simple as entering your zipcode.

If you live in other parts of the world, I imagine you might try the postal code for the area you live in.

You may be able to enter your city/town name as well.

David will have to confirm on this, however.
