First impresions: when loading the entire music folder, the software blocks, and have to reset manually. Same thing for the "find gps" button.
One other thing is I set the external apps, but in the apps menu I can't see them.
Other than that, the software runs great. I like the fact that one can easily switch between playlists. Awesome software, you did it again David!
you use the ext apps GUI in tools to setup your external apps... the XML has changed some... Just hit the "+" and add the app with the GUI...

There is no need to edit the XML files manually anymore, it will most liklely just cause problems...

    David: I love CF
We are in the middle of a complete skin re-design.... it uses more neutral colors and is even easier to use...

David, I think you are officially on everyone's "fedex david a beer (or 6)" list.

    You rock.

I would suggest/ask that your (wonderfully skilled) artist uses more toned down fonts, and softer transitions. (vs the current 'edgy/sharp' look).

I've played with this for about four hours now. This is an great piece of software that does a whole lot very well. I especially like: (i) the media search feature; (ii) the configurability (is that a word?) of the buttons and actions; (iii) multiple open playlists; (iv) being able to click the top of the screen to show all songs by the current artist; and (v) the web browser.

That being said, here are the bugs I've noticed so far:

    1. My BU-353 (USB) GPS receiver is no longer recognized when I'm in CF. This occurs even if I have not loaded Destinator from within CF. I know that CF is the problem because when I exit CF and load IGuidance the receiver is recognized immediately. It's as if CF is grabbing the receiver for use with Destinator and preventing Iguidance from accessing it.

    2. Connect/Disconnect is very inconsistent. Many times the button says "Connect" when it's already connected and "Disconnect" when it's not connected.

    3. The Mixer is very strange. I must set pre and front to 100% to get any volume out of it. I would love to have the option to disable the CF mixer completely and manage sound through my soundcard software.

I wonder if the new USB drive support, is interfering with USB gps devices?!

Maybe something like proximo's "CF STYLE" RoadRunner Skin?

Drives me crazy that both Proximo and I have been trying to merge the best of RoadRunner and CF in a an unholly marriage.

Basically, Centrafuse sets the mold of how an ideal front end works, and RoadRunner WORKS, but needs "front-end-front-end" developlment!
