No one has gotten iGMod to embed yet? Obviously iGuidance via Skinbedder embedded fine. Still no luck figuring out iGMod

password is stored in the config.xml file, you can just delete it from there if that happens again...

We are in the middle of a complete redesign... I think you will really like it....

There are some CPU usage issues with 1.5... I know about them and will get them fixed...

I especially like: (i) the media search feature; (ii) the configurability (is that a word?) of the buttons and actions; (iii) multiple open playlists; (iv) being able to click the top of the screen to show all songs by the current artist; and (v) the web browser.

That being said, here are the bugs I've noticed so far:

    1. My BU-353 (USB) GPS receiver is no longer recognized when I'm in CF. This occurs even if I have not loaded Destinator from within CF. I know that CF is the problem because when I exit CF and load IGuidance the receiver is recognized immediately. It's as if CF is grabbing the receiver for use with Destinator and preventing Iguidance from accessing it.

    2. Connect/Disconnect is very inconsistent. Many times the button says "Connect" when it's already connected and "Disconnect" when it's not connected.

    3. The Mixer is very strange. I must set pre and front to 100% to get any volume out of it. I would love to have the option to disable the CF mixer completely and manage sound through my soundcard software.
to make your GPS work you need to disable Destinator... Simply go to plugins, highlight Gps, and hit "-"... this does not permanently delete it... it can be added back later with the "+" in the inactive plugins folder...

connect/disconnect is just a painting issue... It is happening on multiple buttons, OSK, etc... it will be fixed...

Same here. I do have sometimes have trouble with IGMod loading itself twice. When that happens I need to exit IGMod and try again. This also happened in CF 1.4 and I believe is an IGMOd issue not a CF issue. PURDooM is aware of the issue and is working on it.

I really like this piece of software. It's all well thought and working pretty easy without any performance issues.

I really like how your search engine works <-- pretty damn good!!!!
Sound quality seems better since 1.4. I'm gonna test in my car later today.
A resync button for the library could be a usefull option with 10000+ songs..

It seems that cantrafuse has the potential to become a commercial product.
And a very good one also

Keep up the good work veetid!!

I really like the mutliple playlist feature.

When I read about being able to tap the hard drive icon and instantly switch to multiple playlists, I thought: "neat, but useless". I was so wrong. I love this idea! It just feels right and is done very well. It's almost like changing radio stations.

I keep one playlist for my wife another and several for whatever I'm listening to. When I get bored with one list, I switch and go back to the other lists the next day. When she gets in the car, I can put on something she likes instantly!
    My worklog.
Status: VM GTI sold, got out of the CarPC tinkering hobby, but I still think about getting back in.

    Slow and Crashes Often

    Hello David,

I understand from reading your response that you are aware that the program is running really slow and using 100% CPU. Will it be possible to release a patch just to address this issue soon since we really can not use it at it's current state because it keeps crashing and videos are very choppy.

    Thank you,
    FB
