OK.. Well I've been playing around with this software for a weekend, and have had some bugs. First off, I got it to recognize the GPS, and I set the signal, but I don't know how to change the map to California. It's stuck in the same position, but the arrow is moving in like a circle. Whenever I play a song, it always has the same album visual on the main screen. I don't know how to change it? I'd like it to be like a general picture, but it always has the Blink 182 album picture on the front. Also, another HUGE problem is that when I go to the equalizer settings, it won't let me turn the REAR volume up. It's like the FRONT is set all the way at the top, and when I try to turn the front down, and the rear up, it won't let me. I can drag it up, but it'll go right to the bottom. And the "subs" tab is also set at the bottom (even though I dont have any subs).
I think that's all the problems I have now. I must say that this is the best software I have ever experienced in a carputer. I've had them all, and I like this one the best. I really like how quickly it changes music when I click next. A rarity in other software!! Only thing missing is integrated XM lol. Great piece of software, david. I really appreciate all the help!!
1) You have to have the California map. It's not included yet.
2) If you put any picture in a folder and name it folder.jpg it will be displayed as the album art for every song in that folder.
3) has something to do with your soundcard. Not sure. Do you even have seperate rear/sub outputs?
If you don't have seperate rear outputs, then there is no way for Centrafuse to control the rear. If you were to get a new sound card then you could use that feature but right now its acting exactly as it should.
Is it not coming out of the rear speakers at all? If not it's something in your wiring not Centrafuse. If you only have one output, then Centrafuse could not possibly be affecting one set of speakers differently then another. Not even the computer could for that matter. How is your system set up? Do you run your comp to a HU or amps?
My computer runs directly to my AMP via a RCA cable? Should I check the connections? I'm pretty sure everything is connected, and there is output, but its mostly like bass, and I can't hear anything else. Any ideass?
Does the amp have a EQ/Crossover/Bass boost ect? 2, 4, 5 channel? First thing I'd do is play with all the settings. Set the gain/crossovers/EQ ect accordingly. Like I said before, I see no way for Centrafuse to affect two sets of speakers differently through one output.
I enable smart 5.1, which sends the same stereo single to multiple channels... Then run the front output to an amp in the car that controls the front speakers, and run the rear output to an amp that controls the rear speakers... this allows you to control the level independently...
