Beta ran out?

Same here, i have both 1.4 and 1.5 installed and configued but i use 1.4 for its speed...

I just wish David would tell us what his PLAN is. From this side of the world, it seems like we're all stuck with 1.4 until further notice. And if people can't really use 1.5 (I mean, in a car) what is the point of having a beta release out there?

Surely David wants meaningful feedback from us all -- and I sure as hell have tried my best to do that throughout the 1.3-1.4 releases -- but if I am stuck with Home PC use, I am probably only going to be able to provide 50% of the feedback vs full in-car use. Plus there is no real motivation to try it out at home.

Not ranting -- I really want the Beta program to work to its full potential. I feel like the way things are going, FluxMedia is not quite there. And I really want CF to be a success, because in some strange way, I feel like we all have contributed to make it what it is now.

I understand the drawbacks and problems in 1.5 and I'm working to correct them and release 1.6... It is taking longer than expected, but I am trying to not release another 1.6 that has the same problems as 1.5...

I will have it released as soon as possible... 1.5 was a major change over 1.4 and there are many things I am having to fix/update.... I am trying to get 1.6 out as soon as possible....

I guess I haven't been on the boards in awhile, but cut the guy some slack... it's pretty clear that he knows the issues with 1.5 and is working to fix them, I don't think you guys have to complain about it every other post. We got a fresh lic for 1.4, enjoy it, and maybe a better CF version will be ready in Feb.

I had this problem with the license, just wanted to say the new file you posted worked. I don't understand why the license file still can expire.

Can we get a license that'll last indefinately? I'm in love with 1.4 and I'm a fan of the 'if it's not broken, don't fix it'

Anyways....I'm glad I got my CF working again. I've been too busy to trouble shoot it or hit up the forums, thanks again for the fix

It's common for software betas to be time-limited. For a commecial software vendor, you don't want this old beta floating around with people asking question about it tying up your support channels.

Also, Veetid has stated that part of the beta testing was testing the licensing system, maybe we found a bug for him.

does anyone know how to obtain a licence for 1.5.... I can't figure out how to register.... it won't allow me to register from the pop-up because it is already looking for a serial key that I can't get until I register....

I did search & I poked around on the cf site, but I must be blind or something because I can't find a way to register it.... searching has brought a bunch of stuff up for 1.4 licencing issues, but nothing on 1.5.... help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been using the new MObileImpact and its much better than CF, it's irresponsible for a programmer to do this to its users.
