So let me be, I just mentioned that in this forum called "BETA RAN OUT"!?.... 'cos friends of mine had complained to me about CF having issues, as for me I never used it because it's my choice! NOW CHIL pleaseL!
Just wanted to drop a post in here to say that I got the "Beta Expired" message too and the new lic file fixed it for me too. I'm very much looking forward to 1.6, but will keep using 1.4 until then. Thanks, David.

We release software for Windows, and while we do testing, sometimes major errors will come up out in the field that simply didn't show up in testing. This is just stuff that happens.
I know David runs into the same things, and think about it, how many testbeds can he have? CarPCs are MORE homebrew than your standard XP boxes, so it's understandable that problems don't crop up in the lab that happen to the rest of us.
He's working as hard as he can, and when there're problems, he's very responsive about it. I think he's got a great product going here.
As far as 'Not being part of the CarPC mentality'. That's crap. He's writing a very sellable product, and as such should be able to sell it. Before I ran into mp3car.com, I would've ended up buying a front end, anyway.
Yeah i had the run out thing. fixed now with the licence file, centrafuse is a fantastic program. when 1.4 ran out i tryed other front ends(inc 1.5), but was not as happy as i was with centrafuse 1.4. Its perfect for me. well done exelent front end.
well i am pretty new to the scene (so to speak) and have been running the 1.5 version with a few hiccups and crashes amd locks along the way but persevered with it and as long as i didnt try to rush ordo to much found 1.5 to be pretty stable until the day i came to my car and got the licence expired message.
when it comes to programming the only thing i know is that 1+1 +10
so i am in awe of whta has been done here i would just like to get the external apps running i just cant get mobile phone tools to be accepted as an external app which means i need to start it seperately at the moment but seeing as i dont have a working front end at the moment is ok with me but i can use my mobile phone for gprs acces to the net when out and then i connect to my wifi when at home
so thanks for a great front end and just hope i can get the licence thing fixed soon
have just found the lic file i needed on the flux forum thanks david happy new year
My lic was working fine (for 1.5) until I updated the net framework from 1.1 to 2.0. When I open the software it said that the trial had expired, when I clicked the "ok" button it whent to the "try" screen and the "remaining days" are counting down, I've also uninstalled and reinstalled, downgraded the net framework, still the same problem. It is working fine on my laptop.
P.S. I also installed the "Autotouch" software and it crashed right away so I uninstalled it.
