Well I was at CES and I think I saw the mp3Car contribution at the Intel booth. There was a car there with some kind of Deck?? computer installed. I couldn't find anybody to talk to about the car to find out if it was associated with mp3Car.com or not. Anyway, I did see some very cool ultra small form factor pcs-I think they were at the AMD booth. The show is so huge and sleep and alcohol take their toll all of the booths get mixed up ... Anyway, on the car side navigation was everywhere. Everyone is now making a GPS/Nav package for cars indash, stand alone, you name the company and they got about 6 versions of each.

I looked at that software, looks good. I really liked the hand writing recognition for entering an address into the navigation.

My point exactly. I wish there was some sort of system wide utility that would allow this on a Windows Based platform. Maybe there is.. will have to look it up!

I had a focus group test that handwriting functionality and we found that 9/10 users preferred a large OSK, which in 1.6 the size is doubled... They found it easier and safer... The handwriting feature was considered more dangerous by almost everyone involved in the focus group...

NOTE: Not to mention when I pitched that idea to my contacts at 3 of the largest motor companies they said they would never implement such technology for legal reasons... I'm referring to OEM...

some might like that feature in the aftermarket though....
