    It's actually somewhat true now...

Dumb *** Dubya just signed a bill that makes it a federal offence to cause an annoyance via an online channel. This is assumed to include IM's, Forums, and personal websites.

you are right... I did not have time to post the screenshot of the OSK yet... This is mainly because we now plan to not post anymore screenshots of the new application because people just take the designs and go build them into other frontends, which sucks when your trademarked design shows up in a frontend before you even release your version...

This decision came down from my design director....

I am very supportive of these forums... Every post generally gets an answer from me within 1 day no matter what state, country I am in... I try my hardest to make the forum response time very fast...

I know I miss deadlines on PUBLIC releases to these forums, but until the application goes commercial, it's the best I can do. We do a lot of internal testing of the components, but it takes time to wrap up complete versions for public release...

I will be releasing 1.6 with just about all features the application will initially have, there is a lot, as soon as possible, but I want to make sure it doesn't have as many problems as 1.5 did, or I will get all the negative feedback that the forum members gave me...

I was getting constant posts, emails, PM's to release 1.5 we don't care what state it's in, we just want to test it, go ahead and release it I don't care how well it runs, etc, etc... So I do release 1.5 in the state that it was in and all of a sudden the same people complain that it's not stable, it doesn't do this, why does it have this bug...

I want 1.6 to be a solid feature rich release and I'm working to make that happen. I have been traveling a lot lately, CES last week, and now I'm about to fly to Florida to meet with a company, then off to Germany...

Centrafuse development is now a team effort and I have brought more developers on board, so hopefully we will get 1.6 released sooner than later and it will be stable enough for people to BETA test...

Everyone will be blown away by 1.6 and it will be worth the wait... I am running it in my car right now on my M10000 and most speed issues have been addressed... I did add support for sonique visualizations and they do not seem to run on my M10000 very well or at all really, but that is the only major speed issue I currently have left to address...

We then have a few more plugins to wrap up, finish fixing the bug list I have compiled internally and from the forums, and then build the setup and release... It is very close, but again... I will be doing lots of internal testing this round because I do not want the same response I got from 1.5, but 1.6 will still have bugs... This is a BETA testing program....

Not sure how much time I will have in Germany next week, but we have a booth at CeBit, so if you are around the show in March stop by...

Thanks for the update David. Good to hear u seem to have resolved most of the M10K speed issues. Wrt the visualisations speed, do u use the on-board vid on the M10K? Just wondering if thats ur benchmark.

M10K, Lilli 7", 512MB, 80Gb HD, slim CD-RW/DVD Combi, nLite Win XP, CentraFuse.

Planned for years, built for ages, tested for a while, almost installed, never gonna be perfect...

Yes... This was with the onboard video on the M10000... I found about 4 visuals that on my test machine used less than 15% CPU in fullscreen mode and hoped they would run fine on the M10000... They do run ok in the window, but fullscreen they lag very bad on the M10000....

It's shame that most, including myself, use M10000... They really are terrible performance machines, but once I get it running good on the M10000, it should run good on just about anything ....

True, i recently tried an old PCI graphics card in my M10K. Itseemed to make quite a bit of difference - so much so that I reckon i'm gonna get a better one and use it.

But ur definately right - if u can get it work on the M10K, it'll run on any old dog

Aw man, what i'd give to join that team! I'd work on centrafuse for a dime a day, as long as health/lunch/commute/and a lifetime's worth of Centrafuse licenses is answered for!!! Hehehe. Too bad I'm half the world away.
