Volume hits 53% then starts over?

My volume level maxes out at 52% on the centrafuse volume gauge and then goes back down to 0db when it his 53% then proceeds to get louder all the way to 100%...

    Anyone know why?

It does. It seems that the link between the centrafuse mixer and the actual sound cards mixer arent in sync with each other.

If i bring up centrafuses' mixer panel, "front" is what is being controlled when i push volume up or volume down buttons on the main centrafuse panel.

This is the slider that gives me the trouble.

When I slide the other slider up and down, the far left slider (master?) i forget the name of it and im not in the car to see it, but when i slide that slider up or down, everything works great as far as controlling the volume.

If somehow I could map the volume up and down buttons to control that slider then it would solve my problem. Is this possible?

Have you got a VIA EPIA motherboard? I had the same problem using the 'latest' drivers from VIA.

Try downloading the real latest drivers from the VIAArena website. Think the lastest is 6.2

Having troubles getting to VIAArena at the mo so try here:

SiS 650 & SiS 961, ALi M1535+ sound chipsets on my laptop... It works fine in all other carputer front ends. If I could somehow have the option to control the "Pre" silder instead of the front speakers slider it would fix this problem!

Well as much as i liked centrafuse i've switched to roadrunner. Its not as good or stable IMO but i can turn it up and down, and it seems to be alot more active and not to mention open source... At least until there is an option to map the volume controls like there is in roadrunner!
