Thread: Rebuild song list with external hd every time?

Make sure your drive letter doesn't change all the time. Use START > Control Panel > Administrative tools > Computer Manangement > disk management.

Then Add this path to your music paths in your library.
Rebuild your library.

You should be okay from here on.

In addition, you may create a playlist for everything in this new music path so it doesn't take forever to re-queue. Load up your queue however you like it. Hit the queue button in media screen. Hit another "QUEUE" Button on the new screen. then hit the save button )looks like an old floppy disk (just above the down arrow)

Ahh ok i think the issue was that i didnt add the drive to the music paths. I hit the usb button every time to pull them up.
