Thread: Controlling different volume slider with main volume control?

BUMP.

The reason I need it is because the volume control stays stuck on a value, 50 or 70 something percent, and doesn't budge when I press up or down. However, I can go to the Mixer, and the "Pre" slider works fine for volume control.

So, David, next release, or is there already a way to adjust the Pre levels?

exactly my problems mercury but on one pc it stays stuck at 30% and on the pc i'm using the volume starts at 20% and maxes out at 54% and when it hits 55% the volume level starts over from 0db until it hits 100% again. Very annoying because i cant turn it down all the way so i have to use mute alot!

I dont understand why it wasnt an option alreay since its a sure fire way to make centrafuse compatible with all sound cards that work in windows since it just uses windows master volume... oh well.

do you have an error.log file? the percent you are seeing is nothing to go by, it's inaccurate and was a calculation problem which has been fixed... Also comparing to windows mixer will do you no good because I use logorithimic volume instead of linear, because that's how human ears work...

if the sound isn't properly changing then their should be some sort of error that might help lend to me fixing the problem...

I cleared my error.log file because it was gigantic.

Then I fired up Centrafuse and tried to change the volume. It would not change, and stayed stuck at 30%.

This is the only error that was produced after I closed Centrafuse:

Turn yer speech recognition off. Clear error.log file and re-test again.
