There will be a non widescreen skin available... The current skin is a widescreen only skin...

Cover art aspect ratio problem when running in fullscreen. Cover art is stretched on 4:3 displays. is there any setting in the config files to correct this ? running 800x600 4:3
when hooking up to a 7" ws in 800x600 the cover art is displayed correctly, so I guess this done on purpose since most people are using 16:9 screens.
If anyone know where I can adjust this, please let me know

Thanx for the info David.
My problem is this:
Primary Screen 16:9 (Controls only and GPS)
Current setup primary: 1xIn-Dash VGA 16:9
Secondary Screens 4:3 (Displaying Video, Coverart Ect)
Current setup Secondary: 3x Liliput 8" 4:3, 1x Liliput 10" 4:3, 1xDell 17" 4:3
So the only thing I wanna change is the Coverart setting for the secondary screen, I want the "Skin" itself to be 16:9 since it runs on the "primary" screen which is 16:9
I decided to run 4:3 on the secondary screens since 99% of all music videoes are NOT encoded in anamorphic widescreen.
That is a little more complex... I do already recalc the aspect ratio for secondary skins and modify the skin to work, so the secondary screens can be different resolutions... but it's still a widescreen skin so you get the results that you see...Originally Posted by deleted
I will put it on a list of thing to ponder about... loading both a widescreen and 4:3 skin and using approriate files based on resolution of which screen you are on... this would drastically (almost double) my memory consumption...
I will think on it...

Well, put it as an configurable option if you include it, that way everybody is happy.I will put it on a list of thing to ponder about... loading both a widescreen and 4:3 skin and using approriate files based on resolution of which screen you are on... this would drastically (almost double) my memory consumption...

Btw: does CF support Triple Head in example Matrox Pahelia ?
On the 1.6 version you said you would include ODB-II, so say at a triple screen setup:
1st Screen Primary Controls \ Gps
2nd Screen ODB-II
3rd Screen Video \ Covers
The matrox 3rd screen are supposedly "Video mirror screen" only so I guess cd covers would be difficult to get displayed on 3rd screeen. However there are other products that will give you additional screens via usb, you can add as many as you like I think.

So say you want dual or triple head on your epia board, you simply add one or two of these
