I am currently using the Elmscan ISO OBD-II tool from scantool.net and whilst the scantool software functions correctly I can't seem to get centrafuse to display any values.
Just been playing with CF on my desktop PC and have discovered some additional setup options I may have set wrong. So probably my fault why it's not working within centrafuse, I'll keep you posted.
nope still not working scantool.net ISO not connecting. Says connected initially but no data read out, If I click the connected icon it changes to red and reads connecting but never connects.
I have checked all settings and the correct com port is selected. Elmscan 3 is selected from the menu. Works fine using scantool.net's own software.
Same problem here!
I have an ISO interface from scantool, it works with the software from scantool but I can't get any value while in CF
My car (Honda Del Sol) had OBD2 computer at first, but after swap of engine I changed it to OBD1 computer with preconnector to OBD2 car's installation. Should it work?
I am just confused where on OBD2 comptuer to plug in the connector from scantool box? As I know there are 3 segments of lots of pins, but they are all connected with car's harness?
I have a friend in California for 2 more days and he can buy me a "ElmScan 5" if it will 100% work? Is there any shop where he can take a look? Is it possible to buy it cheaper than $139?
David, in the next months I am switching to e-manage, and it also has possibility to connect it to PC (for map optimization etc), do you think it is the same thing and it should work with CF?
