I had this same problem in 1.5 and so i assumed it was a bug...however it appears to be back again in 1.6.

1. volume control - the volume drops down to 0% on a random basis. It seems to happen whenever NAV gives voice directions...

which brings me to my second problem.

2. the voice prompts for nav are not audible? The music pauses (drops the volume down) and i don't hear a thing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Not I. But I use iguidance. whats your error.log file say?

I haven't checked, didn't know it existed.

What about the volume issue? It randomly drops to 0.

Open up your error.log file in notepad. (Its in the Centrafuse install directory). Select all, Delete, Save.

RE-create the volume problem (you might want to also post the steps to reproduce here). Close CF, re-open the error.log file and see whats breakin.

As for recreating it...i really don't have to do anything to recreate it...it happens every few minutes. i really don't have a special config in any way either.

Also i should note, when CF first launches...vol is dropped to 0, every time.

The volume for REAR/SUB doesn't work either in the EQ section of the program. Only the one slider works. I'm using KXX drivers on an audigy.
