    Stupid mp3 ripping question!

    Hey Guys,

I just loaded 1.6 on my carputer. I had previously had it on my PC only and was playing with it before I made the leap. My PC had all of my music, but it is low bandwidth wma format. I want to start to rip new copies from CD's instead in MP3 format. Do I do the ripping in Windows media player, or can I just put a CD in Centrafuse and have it rip to a selected directory? When I stuck a CD in it just played the CD. Do I need to rebuild my library every time I rip a new CD before I can play it?

I downloaded videolan as my DVD playback software and was curious if I need anything else.

Just curious the steps I need to go through.

    Best regards,

    Marc
