i tried downloading the setup file from the website again today but still the same problem mate the version is 1.60
Try deleting the .lic file in the Centrafuse directory and then see if it will allow you to enter a serial number.
hi i can't find a file in the centrafuse diretory with .lic as the extension did you mean the xheo.licensing.dll if so i deleted this but still no joy
Howdy Ladies and Gents,
I Think I have a new one here for you. My had installed 1.6 fresh into my brand new PC and it was working fine. I used the serial that I was given from the Flux Media Site and it was a dream. Well I hooked the PC up to the network to get updates for it and then tried to run Centrafuse after the fact and all of a sudden after a month of operation it says bad serial. I uninstalled and re-installed as per all the suggestions here on the board and hand deleted the Flux Media folder and still I get invalid Serial message.........what's up? Anyone seen this happen yet? Any help would be great as I have basically fallen in love with Centrafuse as a frontend and I want to be able to use it rather then any of the others.
What all updates did you install? Did you install .NET 2.0? If so uninstall that.Originally Posted by Halo13

This happened to me yesterday.
Turns out my BIOS battery was bad and it reset the date to 01/01/2004. The CF licencing has presumably decided that I'm trying to scam it and deleted my serial number. I can still get in (once the date is corrected) by using the "Try" button though.
I wonder if this will still be a problem once we're on an unlimited, paid for, licence. I wouold imagine Car PC BIOS batterys die quicker due to the environment and the fact that the boards spend more time properly powered off (unlike ATX desktops, for example)
I checked for that as it was a problem when I first installed it. .Net 2.0 was not one of the updates as I pick and choose the updates that go on my machine so I have vered away from that one. I am just lost as can be here.Originally Posted by veetid
