bump......
I do not understand but a bunch of my songs have these strange symbols in the title of them when displayed in centrafuse. I have checked both id3v1 and id3v2 tags for the files and they are both exactly the same with no weird symbols in them. I have checked the file names of them in DOS to see if they had a symbol that dos recognizesx and not windows, i am at a lost at why some of my songs have this. It is always an entire cd to never just a few songs here and there.(I personally ripped all of my cd's so none of them are downloaded)
Anyone ever seen this or have an idea about how i can fix this?
bump......
Me too, especialy with french or foreign songs... sometimes, centrafuse will not even play the track...

Smells like unix style vs. windows style new line problem... could it be that?
This problem seems like an character set issue to me. I don't know exactly how David is saving and displaying song tag data, but it looks like you have a character in your song info that the character set that Centrafuse uses, can't handle. I could be way off base though.
Yeah well thats what it seems first... but why the hell its always end of the line...Originally Posted by JWise1203

no it must be anytime nowà!!!
It's most likely a UNICODE tag reading issue... I will look into it... I have already made multiple improvemetents/fixes to the tag reading code, so hopefully I already fixed it...
