Thanks for this update David. I notice that in this post and the other there's no mention of the new Destinator engine. Is there something you aren't telling us?

I'd be curious to know how you prioritize the bugs that get fixed, deferred, etc. Not second-guessing your decisions; I'm just curious.

1.7 is now running on the new Destinator 5 PN engine... This is one of the last things I'm working on outside my list. Once I get the new interface and all the bugs worked out with the Destinator 5 integration I will then focus on the bug list above and release 1.7...

Then hopefully get most of the future features and the rest of the bugs into the 1.8 release, then have a couple of versions without any feature additions for testing to harden the stability/performance of the application...

It will still just be test maps until the application is for sale on the website and no longer a Beta...

We will have discs printed and you will be able to purchase them from website with Centrafuse and maps for your region, once completed...

Thanks, David, for posting this information. I guess I'm a little bummed because it looks like there's still a tremendous amount of work to be done before we see 1.7; however, it is very helpful to be able to follow along as progress is made.

David: what about a internet browser status icon. Something that lets you know that the webpage is actually loading and not that it's frozen.

so how much is CF gonna cost us? and how long before 1.6 blows up? I have a big road race from new york to new orleans on the 24th (through the 30th) (www.baberally.com) and I just want to be sure CF wont self destruct while I am on the road.

noithing sucks worse than when CF expired while I was at a race in new hampshire and I had to drive the whole way home using windows mediaplayer....
