Phone Control

so I'm a bit behind on the times when it comes to cell phones, I've not kept up with the latest trends and I don't buy the latest phones. I do understand that the bluetooth option for head seats is a nice feature, but what exactly does this phone control thing do?

Does it essentially require a phone with bluetooth, a carPC with bluetooth and then does it sync your numbers with the computer and you can dial out via the computer?

is that the basic gist of it?

much like the blue tooth phone options in OEM installs?

The use of the program depensd on what phone you have..

With some phones you can use your carputer as an handsfree, using the cars speakers and an mic.. You can send and revieve sms, access your phonelist.. It mutes the music when you recieve calls.. This is just some of the features..

Otherphones can only revieve sms, not send..
Some only access phonebook..

You can use bluetooth, cable or irda.. But this depends on the phone.. Go to the website, and you can read all about it there..

yeup!

I'll admit it, I'm completely out of the loop when it comes to the latest phones. My husband is one of those guys that really didn't understand the point so I gave in a bit and got out of the whole phone thing. Now that my company is going to be paying for my phone, that's all out the window...lol

I'll be getting a new phone that is capable of some of this stuff.
