I dont know... fact that u receive physical disc and manual... makes it feel bit more professional... i once bought some 10k€ worth of software for one organization, and all i receive was faxed licenses. Makes u kind of think that why didnt u just hit to pirate bay.

Your right in that sense but If I spend that kinda money I want it right now... They prob won't because of the destinator CD. They should let you physically download centrafuse and be able to wait for destinator to arrive. The phoco centrafuse will still be the small footprint its just destinator that will be big.

The discs sent will be Flux Media packaging and printed DVD's, no Destinator or any other 3rd party discs... It will be professionally packaged, printed, boxed, and include a color manual....

The only reason for not allowing a download of just the XLE version is only because of bandwidth... Once I get the final footprint for each version and region I will talk with the people in my cage (hosting facility) and find out whether we should allow XLE to be downloaded...

Why does it need to be available as a download?

Its nice to get something tangable like a professionally presented box manual and disk when buying online, feels like value for money when compared to a download

    Just my 2pence worth.

So we can use it after we buy it... Pay that kinda of money and people don't want to wait.

again no one hold me to these dates, that is simply the plan.. Do to our limited staff and the amount of work we have on hand, which includes loads of non-programming work we have to get done, these dates might and probably will not be hit exactly...

I undertstand it will be a larger download so why not do this instead. Send the dvd and manual like you already planned. But also allow xle users to download just centrafuse itself becuase that should be a smaller download. Then we can just wait for the gps maps to arrive.

You could offer a discount for peeps wanting to download program maps & extrasinstead of you having hard copies sent out....

Why not have the base version as something every one gets, and then have access to the pluggins and maps as optional £$£ extras.

And peeps, don't forget, not everyone who will want this program hias access to broadband. There are still some areas of the UK not covered
