New Release, Centrafuse RC1 (1.7)

windows has a uninstall tool which cleans up previous .msi installations
completly. I can't rembmer the name but that would probably solve installation problems. I've used the program in similar situations before.

I meen, microsoft has that tool, must be downloaded from microsoft.com

Do we need a new licence file? Every time I load 1.7 it asks for a licence

Thanks for the new version David, it looks fantastic so far, now I can finish my new install with the right software

I got a few suggestions already but I don't want to bug you right after this great new release

To perform the uninstallation of that version, it tries to access the centrafuse.msi of the older version.

Did you try to manually find all Centrafuse keys in the registry and to remove them all?

I downloaded with Firefox 1.5. The only funny thing was that the file, once downloaded, did not contain the ".msi" extension. I had to add the extension to the filename to get the installer to work.

For the earlier poster, my uninstaller didn't work to uninstall version 1.6 so I went into the registry and deleted everything containing "Centrafuse" or "Flux." I had no problem installing the new version after doing that.

kbreeden, same here, in regards to the missing file extension, it installed without a hitch after that.

Yea that same thing happened to me. I was trying to open it and couldn't figure out why it couldn't install...Then i realized the .msi at the end was missing.

Has anybody tried integrating this with iGuidance. Also is the general consensus that destinator is better then iGuidance?
