Problem with Microsoft Exchange Mail (CF WEB)

    Hi Guys.....

When I try to access our web-mail account (http://62.244.***.**) I get "Page unavalible" ... There is no problem when i open IE from windows.. Just when i use the CF web browser....
Its the same on my desktop as well as in the van....

    Any Ideas ?

    Hi

Nope it's allways been just "http://".... It opens fine in IE from windows
but wont in cf web !

I've tried playing video from the BBC website as well with no joy (again ok in IE but not CF)

My guess is it's somthing to do with web settings but i thought that cf just opened IE and that was that.....
I tried turning off all firewall & Anti virus as well....

    still stumped.....

The web plugin uses IE, so that isn't the problem. The only thing i can come up with is the fact that the plugin blockes new windows (popups, links that open in new window, ...). So there could be the problem. Not sure though.

.... Yep that sure sounds like it as it normaly opens a dialouge box for the username & password....

Is there anyway round this ?

    Thanks

I've modiefied the plugin so it opens new windows. New windows will be opened as normal IE windows, so they won't be embedded in CF.

Great, now CF supports pop-up pr0n, poker and viagra ads just like a fully fledged web browser.

Seriously though, good work. It's a shame we can't have Firefox-style tabbed browsing. That would be incredibly useful in an environment like CF (and this is coming from someone who normally hates tabs)

    Hi

Thanks for the file but i still cant get onto our mail server...

It wont allow pop-ups either.. I replaced the Web.dll file in cf (is that right?)
My guess is that CF is stopping the password box that pop's up in IE...
It's not a big deal as i could just run IE as an ext app....

    Thanks
