Thread: CF Automatic Updates question

How will automatic updates work? Will we be prompted for a new update? Will we be required to manually update in order to get new version? (preferred!)

The reason I ask, is that upon updates most likely custom skins will break. I would hate to be in my car and all of a sudden realize that an update has been installed for me, and that my custom skin is broken with the new version. Heck, it might even leave me in a catch-22 situation where I cannot load CF after the update if it doesn't like the skin, and no way to change to the default skin...

So, will we be prompted, or will it be auto-updated?
