    Custom Voices in NAV

Just had a play with the new TomToms, they have a feature where you can input your own voices for nav, is this possible with Destinator DN?

It is just a folder full of .wav files, so you could record them and name them the same. They are under the Common\Interface\Voice folder. The English files are in the All directory.

If you made all new files with the same name and in the same format, it should work fine.

I have tried this (have a map with dutch sounds and placed the map in the Voice directory), also changed the value in DestinatorVoice.ini from <All> to <Dutch> but that didn't work. I also tried to copy all the dutch sound files to the "All" map and modified the value in DestinatorVoice.ini to <All> but that didn't work either. Any suggestions David?

This would be great if it were a setup for voice recording in navigation settings.

You hit one button and speak. Then i will be saved in a profile.

Have you ever try with your microphone...the sound you record is very poor...You should be in special room (studio) to record voice.

And in my opinion I don't like my voice recorded (like probably everybody).

I would rather a nice woman, clear voice

    <where you installed centrafuse>\Common\Interface\Voice\All

Those are the english voice files...

There are other folders for other languages such as:

    <where you installed centrafuse>\Common\Interface\Voice\Italian
