Text scroll speed

David,

Could you try making the text scroll speed 2 or 3 times faster? It takes forever to see the whole text with moderately long song names (which is exactly when you need the scrolling). I am talking maybe 15 seconds to read the whole thing!

2x or 3x will make it bearable in my opinion.

Also, the elipsis (...) are now gone from the tile! Was that intentional ?

I also think it should wait a half second or so before it starts scrolling. The way it is now, I can never catch the beggining.

The speed, initial delay, repeat-scroll-delay, and wrap settings (scroll continuously with a "seperator" character, pause at end then jump to begining and pause, etc.) should all be configurable in the skin.xml (or better yet in a settings menu).

Smooth scroll would also be awesome. Character scrolling sucks!

Can we also have Current-Time / Total-Time instead of just Current-Time or Count-Down. That could be a settings option too and clicking could toggle through the 4 possible settiongs (or you chould just add a total-time variable to your skin.xml).

Also, I still can't play a song using the arrow keys and enter. How come enter doesn't play songs anymore like it use to before RC1? Is there a different hot-key? I'd really like to be able to use my Griffen Power-Mate to scroll through the song list and press it to play a song (like I use to have before RC1).

instead of
"AlmaTeuria - Take my assets and leave my dog"

You should be able to control the listviews with the arrow keys... Once on a section with the listviews tab should toggle you in/out of the list control... Once it has focus it the up/down and enter key should work...

Yes... up and down work, it's just enter that doesn't. It use to before RC1. The only way to play a song is to tab over to the play button and hit enter. Maybe it is only a problem when using the Nexus skin?

I doubt these are skin issues, but I suggest you switch to the stock skins and reproduce the problem before submitting the bug... I have been doing that just in case, and have yet to find a bug that is specific to Nexus skin.
