Feature Requests - Sortable Playlists/Assignable Shutdown Menu

Requested Features (moved from bugs thread per David request):

    1. It would be great if there were a way to sort the open playlist. Perhaps a button could be added that brings up a window giving the option to sort the open playlist by date or alphabetically, or most importantly, to randomize it. It would be great, for example, to be able to sort the list randomly and turn off random play so that you can see what songs are coming up while listening to the playlist in random order.

    2. It would also be nice if there was a way to assign a button to bring up the entire shutdown menu (shutdown, exit, hibernate, reboot, etc.). I would love to be able to assign one of the buttons on the drop down menu to bring up the shutdown menu so that I can easily choose whether to hibernate, shutdown, etc. As it is, it appears that I can assign a button to exit or to hibernate, but I can't get to the entire shutdown menu without going through tools.

    3. Not a biggie, but the word "Hibernate" still doesn't fit in the boxes in the drop-down menu. Perhaps it could be abbreviated or spelled phonetically so that it fits.

You can bring up the exit menu by selecting it as the exit option in settings... This was added in RC2...

You can shorten the word by opening the language file in the language folder...

David: I wanted to back the request for #1. I would like to be able to load all 8000 of my songs in to the now-playing list, and then sort them by Artist/Song, Artist/Album/Track, Genre/Artist/Song, etc. by clicking some new "sort-playlist" button.
