Nobody eh? David?
Ok, here's the deal. If I leave a song playing and hibernate, when I resume, it'll start playing where it left off, then about 3 seconds later, loop the same 1/2 second of music for a couple of seconds, then stop. If I hit the play button TWICE, it'll then begin playing where it left off.
If I pause the music before I hibernate, then play again after resume, everything is peachy!
Anybody else experience this? Pretty strange... I'm runnin RC2, and I haven't used any other versions in the car, so I don't know if a previous version did this or not.
Nobody eh? David?
This is a new one... never happened to me nor has it been posted before...
I was waiting to see if someone else was going to report that it happened to them...
I have found quite a few mistakes in RC2, so hopefully it won't do it in RC2.1 if we are lucky...

It happens to me consistantly every time coming out of hibernation. Whether it be day or night, if 20 minutes have passed, or 2 hours have passed.
I'll try to update some drivers and see if it goes away. I'm beginning to think a possible audio driver.
The only reason I didn't point the finger at drivers first, is because winamp does not display the same behavior. I can leave it playing, hibernate, resume, and everything is cool there, unless I hibernated with a visualization active. Then I get the same results as with CentraFuse.
Oooh, this poses a question. I do have powerstrip loaded, that loads custom screen settings for me. I've noticed that it reloads the settings after hibernation. Would this do it maybe? I'll try disabling it and see what happens to me.![]()
Just out of curiosity, where are your mp3 files located? If they are on cd, or similar removable storage, that could be the problem. I've noticed that sometimes when my 1GB usb-stick isn't detected after hibernation (it suddenly turns off when entering windows) and CF was playing music off the stick before hib. I'll get the same effect. Music loops and stops. Like it's playing the music that is left on the buffer or somethingThough, It doesn't help pressing play because the usb stick isn't detected. I'll have to re-plug it to get it working again.
Nothing like that here. They all reside on the c: drive. But that does answer the question to a similar prob I was having.![]()
i've never had this problem and i use a crappy m10K
Anybody using powerstrip though? I still haven't had a chance to check, but will this evening I hope.
Alrighty, disabled powerstrip, still does it, so that's not the prob. Also, I'm getting some kind of error after enabling PhoneControl... I'll have to post on that in the morning. Something about zControl or something like that.
