    Installing RC3.1 Update without Internet

If you do not have internet in your car this is how you can install the update without an internet connection...

First go to the installation folder for Centrafuse and create or make sure there is a sub directory called "UpdateDownloads". If it's not there, create it...

    Then download the following file:

    http://www.fluxmedia.net/downloads/CF_Update_RC.3.1.zip

Then copy this file into the "UpdateDownloads" directory. Make sure Centrafuse is closed and then run "CFUpdateInstaller.exe".

it says no updates available, and starts cf

it should look like this right (if installed in default location)

    C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\UpdateDownloads

    with centrafuse.exe and update.xml?

    it dont work!

Do not unzip the file! Just copy the ZIP file in the folder exactly from the download...

The updater unzips the file and does everything for you... The only file types that should be in UpdateDownloads are ZIP files...

I fixed the online updater as well and will try to work some way to update the updater from the updater

Might have to reinstall with RC3.2/RC4 to get it working, but it was the first trial run of the updater... It was stupid Date Time parse error too...

you should add in the option of loading this zip onto a thumbdrive so that when its plugged in, centrafuse checks for the file, and if present, it installs the update.

what did it do? something more descriptive than it didn't work... Did it create an error.log file? Can you run centrafuse.exe in the installation folder? does centrafuse.exe even exist?

after all that you can always just unzip and copy the centrafuse.exe to the installation folder manually...
