Does upgrading require getting a new registration code?

RC3.1 was our first test of the updater and we found issues with it and had to redesign and fix some things...

I think we have it all worked out, but it required a re-install...

I will test the updater again next week and hopefully all will go well and then I will have updates again...

Just finished loading it into the truck. I can confirm that the things you said you didn't fix, you didn't fix.

I'm sad about having to uninstall, delete, re-install again again again, but... that's part of life at this stage. Hopefully the updater will work now - right?

    Thanks David!

    Thanks David!
The first test of the updater was RC3 to RC3.1, and it went ok, but required some changes that forced me to do another uninstall/reinstall...

RC4 to RC4.1 we shall test again and hope all is well, I believe I got everything fixed

I believe I've only been handing bug reports, but I need to say this (and every programmer just needs to hear it now and again ):
    Great work you're doing David!
Removing 3.1 and installing RC4 at the moment, but haven't had any crashes with 3.1.
I am working on a 4:3 oriented 1024x768 skin though
Hoping to get a refill of welding gas tomorrow so I can weld the frame that'll house my touchscreen so I can finally get the show on the road
CarPC: "Carma" (Car Audio & Route Management) (about 70% ready)
    P4 1.8GHz / 512MB / 4GB CF
    Asus TVFM + B/W camera
    15" touchscreen 1024x768
    BU303
    2x 100Ah
    reinstalling

And all this in a Dutch 1972 CitroŽn HY van called "MurpHY".
