link to said .swf games?
I'm new to the CF world (still trying to decide to hop on w/ CF or RR, cause they both have + and - ). i know that since RR is flash based it's easy to include the .swf old school NES games that are out there - but is there any such way to do it in CF.
i tried to imbed one of them but i couldn't find a way to exit out of it, control where it was in the screen or anything.
I think this should be easy to do using the "traffic" plugin as reference. It is basicly a webpage within CF.
hmmm...traffic plugin...i'll look into that.
except i don't want to worry if i can get connected to the internet or not. i want to be able to play them as .swf locally.
(how much of a bamf would you feel like playing duck hunt on a touch screen!)
and there are others. i really want to get myself one of those NES USB controllers and play the origional donkey kong or paper boy
would the "traffic" plugin still work for this?
oh, and since they are .swf and were made for websites, there's no way to close out of them, and unless we want them all on seperate buttons, there would need to be a select screen...

thanks david - this is sweet:
just wish there was a wide screen version of this.
here's a website of a bunch of .swf games
another one that could be good for a touch screen is "Shuriken.swf"
Couldn't you also place shortcuts to each game in the favorites folder, then you don't have to have a thousand web link buttons?
I would try this but I can't, since I am using a stripped out version of WinXP and I don't Have IE6 - is there a standalone installer of IE6 or maybe I should ask do I even need IE6 installed, or will Firefox work? I want to be able to play these games within CF.

Hey guys... there are programs that can download and save 'most' SWF games/videos to your local computer. I have one at the house (I'm at work now) that I use all the time. Don't remember the name but it works great. You could add them to your skins easily then and not have to be connected to the web
