    Use Xport3, and CF will find your gps receiver

    Yeah i don't think using a port replicator will work, but in any case I'll try Xport3 just to please the masses. I'll get back with my findings. In the mean time, can anybody else advise why this may be happening? Anybody experience a similar problem?

    PS. All good midiwall - text isn't the best medium to describe a problem like this.

    Check the nav settings in CF...make sure the baud rate is correct.

    Yep the settings are COM3 and Baud Rate 4800 which is what all the other GPS programs detect (including the TomTom PPC Emulator).

    hey all, just to let you know that I tried Xport3 without any different results. Still getting 0 satellites. Any more suggestions?

    With Xport3, does it show the data being passed at the bottom?

    Yup it does. It also shows the same data passing through when I use my GPS Utility tool that comes with the Holux unit.

    still needing help. Veetid? I saw another post by "vipervin". He's using RC4 Trial and he's got 8 satellites locked. Why can't I get even 1 locked? this is annoying me.

    Having the same problem here, i use a Rikaline USB GPS device.
    I've also tried Xport.. no luck so far.
