Feature request: Ability to output to more than one pair of speakers

I notice we now have a feature to select which pair to output to, front, rear etc.

I would like to be able to output to both the front and the rear, the same as pretty much every head unit in existance does.

    Is this possible?

just about every soundcard has the option for smart 5.1, or whatever they call it, to send the same signal to the front and the rears... just enable it in your soundcard drivers and it should work just fine...

The M-Audio Sonica Theatre does not have this feature. the closest it has is the Sensaura virtual surround crap where it picks out SOME of the sound and sends it to the other speakers. I just want good old simple quadraphonic.

That's a function (or limitation, in this case) of the sound card and has nothing to do with Centrafuse, or any other media playback software.

Although it's good information for anyone else contemplating using the M-Audio Sonica Theater for multi-channel output.

Sorry it sucks for you. Live and learn....
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

M-Audio tell me that if I can get an application to output 4-channel audio (ie. if I were able to feed CF a 4-channel PCM WAV file) then the card would quite happily output on all 4 channels.

Presumably it cannot be that hard to upmix 2-channel audio to 4 channel at the output stage. Hell is there a winamp plugin that can do it, since we're supposed to be getting winamp plugin support soon.
