I use the drop down just because I don't have enough buttons in the main area. I embed quite a few programs. If you do remove that area it would be nice to be able to keep adding buttons to the main area past 18..

I never use it... then again, if I did I wouldn't want you to lose it. If you can make it an option, that'd be cool. Otherwise, I think it can be remedied with some other options.

I still would like to see a single button on the bottom of the media screen for GPS (configurable maybe, so others can make it whatever they want?). That is another big thing that always bugs me switching from FP to CF. I go back and forth so often, one or two fewer clicks would be great.

I never use the gamma button... anyway to make that a shortcut to GPS?

I don't find myself using it either. On occasion I do use it, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if it disappeared

you know if you hold the back button while in one section for 2 seconds it toggles between the two sections you are using... I spend all my time in media player and navigation... I just always hold the back button and go between the two....

And as for the button, I doubt I would remove it from the code, just the main skin... I was just looking for feedback...

I think I will probably leave it for now since it's somewhat split whether people use it or not...

Like others have said... new skins can always remove it and we might have one without it later...

I am aware of that... it just isn't exactly what I would like or prefer. Is it something that can be done in a skin? Right now, I have right click enabled on the touchscreen, so all of the 'press for xx seconds' features you have, while cool, don't help me much. Right click isn't something I am willing to give up right now. I guess I am too used to FP and Frigors skin. After using pretty much everything else out there, I find myself always going back to it. The bottom button layout is perfect. I would love to be able to mimic that layout in the CF skin (with its current look and feel).

Just some feedback... sorry to clutter the thread.

I am using it now, took awhile to get used to it, now the motions are second nature for me. That said, relearning to use the back button will not take long either.

I vote for making it an option if possible, if not, I dont think i would miss it for long.

Well, you probably know what I think... I removed the button altogether from the Nexus skin, and it all works very well this way for me, only relying on the MAIN menu button. I did place it in the same spot though, so I dont gain any space... I do remove some redundancy though.

And the dropdown does nto save anyone any clicks. Especially if you make the MAIN section always default to the first page Could you?!
